[tennisbiz] Foam/Soft Tennis Balls

From: Randal May <randal.may_at_chello.at>
Date: Thu 6 Dec 2001 11:27:37 +0100

I have a Tennis Academy. I train many junior players. For the last 6
months I have introduced two types of balls: Foam & Slow soft balls.
Slowing down the balls has helped me speed up the progress of the
players. The beginners and intermediate players can hit through each
shot without fear of it going out. The advanced players can hit out on
each shot and advance their pursuit of "power tennis". I am pleased with
the results! My question is: Has anyone had also similar success with
such balls? Are there any books, magazine articles, videos or websites
regarding such balls being utilized for training? ANY info would be
greatly appreciated!
