Re: International exchange program

From: Rafal Chrzanowski <raf444_at_hotmail.com>
Date: Wed 25 Oct 2000 00:01:56 CDT

Krish,
I think that your idea is excellent. I am currently going to college in the
U.S., but I was born and live in Poland. I totally agree with you that it is
much easier to obtain the latest information about the industry here in the
U.S. This is specifically why I decided to attend an American university.
Not everyone can afford that, though. Consequently, coaches and instructors
all over the world (including Europe) do not have access to the latest
technologies, resources and research findings.

An international exchange program, like you suggest, would be a great
solution. Everyone would benefit. It would be extremely difficult to get it
started, however. I would imagine that national tennis federations would
have to be involved. Certainly, an organization such as USPTR has what it
takes to organized such program. Would they be interested, though?

Please keep me informed.
Best regards,
Rafal Chrzanowski.
